Coaching of Teams

Processes occurring between persons who cooperate closely and regularly are often complicated, incline to conflicts and most of all they are subject to an independent dynamics of group development. The topic of Team-Coaching is the group as a system: interactions, prevention strategies, social relationships, rules, aims, etc.

In contrast to the Coaching of individual persons, in Team-Coaching the group as a whole, i.e. as a system with its particular dynamics and its interactions, is at the core of interest. Consequently, the aim of Coaching is oriented towards the procedures and results of the group and not to the contributions or partial results of individual team members.

In spite of the re-directed focus, the same principle applies to Team-Coaching as to Coaching of individual persons: it is both human resources development and organisational development.
